First of all, they have this free loyalty program that is just crazy good for your wallet. I mean, who doesn't love getting rewards and saving money, right? Plus, it's also great for the local economy, so you know you're doing something good while having a blast.

The only thing I would've liked more is if they had some sick party vibes going on. Don't get me wrong, everything else was amazing, but as a group of young party-goers, we were hoping for a bit more fun, you know?

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in Barbezieux. The spacious and clean rooms were a delight, and the location was convenient. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Our experience at Hotel Restaurant La Boule D'Or was memorable, and we would definitely recommend it. a great choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The hotel staff is so multilingual that I felt like I was at the UN. The museum of comics was a blast, kept me entertained for hours. And the view from the city ramparts was simply breathtaking.

The hotel had a few drawbacks. The check-in process was frustrating as there was no one at reception upon arrival, and it took considerable time and effort to resolve the issue.

We had the best time staying at La Boule d'Or and exploring the area. The hotel has this cool loyalty program where you can join for free and get discounts on your room, which is great for us as young people on a budget. Plus, it helps support the local economy, which is a win-win. We also had a blast trying out all the activities nearby, like going to Tonnellerie Allary and Les Antilles de Jonzac. Totally recommend!

Honestly, the only thing we wish was better is if there were some more party options for young people like us. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time, but it would've been even more epic if there were some fun nightlife spots close by.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration throughout the hotel. The traditional furniture and beautiful floral arrangements created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like me to navigate around. It truly felt like a home away from home.

It would have been even better if there were more staff members who were fluent in languages other than French. It would have made communication easier for us senior travelers.

The restaurant served excellent food and the local wine was delightful. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!

The only minor issue was that the curtains in the room could have been better. Other than that, we felt really comfortable and the staff were always helpful.

We recently stayed at La Boule D'Or for a weekend getaway. The hotel is located in a charming village and we were lucky to experience a medieval market during our stay. The rooms were spacious and the garden was a lovely spot to relax. The restaurant, unfortunately closed on Sundays, but we heard great things about the food. it was excellent value for money and we would 100% recommend this hotel.
